“World Power” is the legendary debut album by Eurodance duo Snap! which has sold millions of copies worldwide. The album was originally released on 14 May 1990 and features some of their biggest hits, including the iconic “The Power”, “Ooops Up”, “Cult Of Snap!” and “Mary Had A Little Boy”. “World Power” launched the incomparable careers of Frankfurt-based producers Michael Munzing and Luca Anzilotti, aka Benito Benites and John “Virgo” Garrett III, who joined forces as Snap! in 1989. Their debut album is their most successful release to date, with more than seven million units sold worldwide and countless gold and platinum awards. The opening track “The Power” made it into the Top 3 of the singles charts in Germany, the UK and the US and appeared in numerous movies, such as “Coyote Ugly”, “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie” or “Bruce Almighty”. On 03.03.2023, “World Power” will be released for the first time as a limited 12″ picture disc with the original artwork and track listing.

Blackie Lawless launched W.A.S.P. on the unsuspecting world in 1983 and before long tales of their outrageous music and intense stage shows were legendary. In the last few years of the old century, W.A.S.P. made some of their most striking and brave albums. The ferocious, blood-splattered ‘Kill Fuck Die’ and the celebratory sleaze fest of ‘Helldorado’ had provided solid proof that Blackie Lawless’ songwriting skills were as keen and unique as ever and, unlike the majority of his 80s contemporaries, this most dogged and determined of frontmen was entering a new era full of confidence, with that blazing inferno in his eyes clearly a long way from fizzling out.

Originally released in 1998, ‘Helldorado’ represented an unabashed return to W.A.S.P.’s early 80s no-nonsense rock’n’roll approach. With few fancy frills and no needless distractions, ‘Helldorado’ is rock’n’roll the way it was meant to be – hard as a biker’s bicep and raw as a bloody steak!
