TOQUEL – BEVERLY HILLS (CD)
Στις 27 Μαΐου του 2019 ο TOQUEL κυκλοφόρησε το «777», ένα album που έμελλε να αποτελεί σήμερα μια από τις δημοφιλέστερες και εμπορικότερες κυκλοφορίες των τελευταίων ετών στην ελληνική δισκογραφία, αφήνοντας το μουσικό του στίγμα στον χώρο της τραπ – και όχι μόνο – σκηνής.
Ακολούθησαν δεκάδες sold out live σε Ελλάδα & εξωτερικό, αναρίθμητα ταξίδια, σαρωτικά mega hits μετά το album όπως τα “Pistoli”, “Fendi”, “Kokaina”, Diamantia”, “Wet” & “Aftoktonia” καθώς και ατέλειωτες ώρες πειραματισμού και ηχογραφήσεων στο studio για το επόμενο δισκογραφικό του βήμα: το ολοκληρωμένο album με τίτλο “Beverly Hills”.
Το album “Beverly Hills” ονομάστηκε έτσι γιατί ξεκίνησε να δουλεύεται τον Ιανουάριο του 2020 στο μακρινό… Beverly Hills του Λος Άντζελες κατά τη διάρκεια της περιοδείας του TOQUEL, και καρμικά «ολοκληρώθηκε» στην ίδια πόλη 2 χρόνια μετά με τα γυρίσματα του βίντεο κλιπ για το ομότιτλο τραγούδι – που αποτελεί και το πρώτο επίσημο single του δίσκου.
Η νέα δισκογραφική δουλειά του TOQUEL μάλιστα συμπτωματικά (ή και όχι) κυκλοφορεί την ίδια ακριβώς μέρα με το προηγούμενο album: στις 27 Μαΐου (με διαφορά 3 χρόνων)!
Το “Beverly Hills” περιλαμβάνει στο σύνολο 9 κομμάτια, ανάμεσά τους και συνεργασίες με τον Fly Lo (“Koko”), τον For3al («Κόκκινα Μάτια») και τον SIDARTA («Παλμούς»), ενώ η μουσική παραγωγή στα τραγούδια φέρει την υπογραφή των Sin Laurent & Beyond.
