Spaniard Axl and Belgian Vera have both pitched up in London. Without knowing it, they live in the same sprawling East End squat. She’s trying to put a failed relationship behind her, while he’s searching for his long-lost English father. In the meantime, the two drift around the capital revelling in the heady present: a blur of booze, sex and encounters with colourful characters.
