Mythodea is an epic choral symphony by the Greek composer Vangelis, originally composed in 1993. With the support of NASA and the Greek government he recorded the symphony in the Greece’s Music Hall together with two harpists, the 120-person chorus of the Greek National Opera, the 75-person London Metropolitan Orchestra and some percussionists. In this incredible piece the human civilization is represented in outer space. With the classical mood, Vangelis explores new musical territories. His self-written pseudo lyrics sounds incredible in the vocal harmonies from the chorus and let the listener choose their own meaning of the movements. The multiple-award winning composer of electronic, progressive, orchestral and jazz music started his career working in several successful bands, such as Aphrodite’s Child. He composed over 50 albums and is still creative in developing new concepts. DEAD KENNEDYS – FRANKENCHIRST (LP VINYL)
Frankenchrist is the third album released by the American hardcore punk band Dead Kennedys in 1985 on Alternative Tentacles. The album is an example of the progressive, psychedelic side of Dead Kennedys’ musical personality. The spaghetti western soundtrack influence is also noticeable in the horn parts and in East Bay Ray’s atmospheric guitar work. Frankenchrist is noted for its relative lack of traditionally ‘hardcore’ material. Most of the songs are slower and longer than the majority of other Dead Kennedys songs. “M.T.V. – Get off the Air” is notable for its pointed slam of the music establishment and “Stars and Stripes of Corruption” for its exegesis of vocalist Jello Biafra’s political philosophies.

“British electronic band Morcheeba released their sixth studio album Dive Deep, which was the second album without former lead singer Skye Edwards. Instead, band members (and brothers) Ross and Paul Godfrey collaborated with several guest performers for the recordings, including rapper Cool Calm Pete, Norwegian alternative singer-songwriter Thomas Dybdahl, French singer Manda Zamolo and pop/rock acclaimed vocalist Judie Tzuke. Two singles were released prior to the album release date, “Enjoy The Ride” and “Gained The World”.

MANOWAR is an American heavy metal band from Auburn, New York. Formed in 1980, the band is known for lyrics based on fantasy and mythology . The band is also known for a Loud and Bombastic sound.In 1984 the band was included in the Guinness Book of World Records for delivering the loudest performance, a record which they have since broken on two occasions. They also hold the world record for the longest heavy metal concert after playing for five hours and 1 minute in Bulgaria (at Kavarna Rock Fest) in 2008.
MANOWAR have also been known for their slogan “Death to false metal » and have maintained a very strong following with dedicated fans worldwide as referred to by the band as “Metal Warriors”, “Manowarriors”, “Immortals” or “Brothers of Metal”.
The band signed with Atlantic Records in 1987. Via Atlantic, they released ‘Fighting the World’, which enjoyed more extensive distribution and increased the band’s prominence in the international heavy metal scene. Album art was designed by Ken Kelly.
In 1988, MANOWAR released the album ‘Kings of Metal’, which is the band’s best known work. Songs like “Heart of Steel”, “Kings of Metal” and “Hail and Kill” are performed regularly in concerts. ‘Kings of Metal’ is MANOWAR’s highest-selling album worldwide.
A new musical unit after the recent changes, MANOWAR released The Triumph of Steel in 1992. It gained some great success and was particularly famous for the presence of a suite lasting no less than 28 minutes entitled “Achilles, Agony and Ecstasy in Eight Parts”, inspired by the events of the Iliad and the hero Achilles. After this release, the band went on a world tour for two years.
