To kick off the 60th anniversary celebration for The Beach Boys, Universal is updating and reissuing the classic Sounds Of Summer compilation, originally released in 2003 with 30 tracks.

The title has been a steady seller over the years, with over 4.4M units to date

The Expanded Edition (3CD & 6LP) features 80 key tracks over the course of their storied career, all newly remastered, with 24 new mixes including 2 first-time stereo mixes, and 22 new-and- improved stereo mixes, in some cases featuring the latest in stereo extraction technology.

The set also features updated photos and all new liner notes. The LP versions feature color printed sleeves that replicate the original “Capitol Catalog” sleeves that highlight the entire Beach Boys discography.

With the various configs and new mixes, this product suite should satisfy both the casual and hard core Beach Boys fans alike.

Unavailable on vinyl since the original release in 2008 – 22 Dreams is Paul Weller’s 9th studio album. The album features Oasis stars Noel Gallagher and Gem Archer as well as Steve Cradock (Ocean Colour Scene) and Blur guitarist Graham Coxon. At the time critics called it Wellers best album to date.

It went straight into the number 1 spot in the UK album chart. The release comes as a 2LP – Gatefold sleeve. Includes a 12″ x 36″ b/w-poster with printed lyrics, tracklist and credits on the back side + Includes an 8-page booklet titled “The Missing Dream AKA Dream # 22” by Simon Armitage.

Plastic Ono Band was the debut solo album by John Lennon. Released on December 11th 1970, John and Yoko had started writing and demoing at Abbey Road (EMI Studios) in the summer, with recording sessions during September/October.

This multi-format release included a CD/BD Super Deluxe Box with 130 page book featuring many exclusive and new photos, track-by-track notes in the words of John and Yoko, lots of tape boxes and full breakdown and descriptions of the audio content. As well as the new Ultimate Mix, we have 5 further CD discs, each focusing on different and new aspects ,including: original outtakes, demos, Elements Mixes (focusing on individual aspects of the songs to reveal unheard elements), Evolution Mixes (the story of each song from demo to complete recording), Raw Mixes (unadorned studio takes that place you inside the room almost sitting alongside the band) and a further disc of studio Jams. There are two Blu-ray Audio discs that feature hi-res stereo (192/24) versions of all the above as well as surround mixes in 5.1 and Dolby Atmos. Limited Edition, Anniversary Edition
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Rory Gallagher’s sophomore solo album from 1971, a deluxe boxset of the album is presented which will include a new mix of the original album, twenty-eight previously unreleased alternate takes, a six song 1972 BBC Radio ‘In Concert’, and seven Radio Bremen radio session tracks. The package will contain a 64 page hardback book with a foreword by Johnny Marr of The Smiths, unseen images, essays and memorabilia from the album recording.
