The newly founded German Thrash Metal outfit Bonded marks the return of former long-time Sodom members Bernd “Bernemann” Kost (Guitars) and Markus “Makka” Freiwald (Drums). Their highly versatile and hard-hitting debut album “Rest In Violence” also features second guitarist Chris Tsitsis (ex-Suicidal Angels), bassist Marc Hauschild and vocalist Ingo Bajonczak (Assassin) complimenting the line-up. Overkill’s Bobby “Blitz” Ellsworth furthermore delivered guest vocals for the title-track, the album’s powerful production comes courtesy of Cornelius Rambadt (Sodom, Disbelief, Onkel Tom) and the striking artwork was made by Bjorn Goo?es / Killustrations (Aborted, The Crown, Carnal Forge).

Hertz. Recorded in the concert hall of the same name at Utrecht’s TivoliVredenburg venue, these twelve songs act like crystallized moments. Each was named after a specific time, place or sentiment that spawned its genesis. “Most of the songs were created in a fairly short period of time when a lot of hectic things happened right in my life: buying my first house, moving, getting married, plus a very big renovation. Lots of chaos. Playing the piano was my way of unwinding and finding some comfort.”
