Το δεύτερο σόλο άλμπουμ της Λένας Πλάτωνος κυκλοφόρησε το 1985.
Η ίδια δηλώνει πως έριξε λίγο νερό στο κρασί της με το Γκάλοπ κάνοντας το κάπως πιο προσιτό στο ευρύ κοινό σε σχέση με τις Μάσκες Ηλίου που είχαν προηγηθεί, πείθοντας έτσι τότε την Lyra να το κυκλοφορήσει.
Ήχος 100% ηλεκτρονικός, στίχοι σουρεαλιστικοί και στυλ απόλυτα, μα απόλυτα προσωπικό.
«Μια σπουδή στην αστική μυθολογία των μητροπόλεων καθώς και μια ματιά στο μέλλον αυτών» λέει η ίδια για το concept του άλμπουμ.
Κάθε κομμάτι και μια αληθινή ιστορία/εμπειρία δοσμένη με σουρεαλιστικό τρόπο και ταυτόχρονα με φουλ ευαισθησία.
Θέματα καθημερινά και επίκαιρα που η δισκογραφία της εποχής δεν τολμά να προσεγγίσει, τουλάχιστον όχι με τον άμεσο τρόπο της Πλάτωνος.
Γράφει το πιο δραματικό κομμάτι της για τα μάτια ενός σκύλου («Μάρκος»), άπειρη τρυφερότητα για τους μετανάστες στο «Εμιγκρέδες της Ρουμανίας», πολιτική αλληγορία στο «Τι νέα ψιψίνα;», ωδές στην ανιδιοτελή αγάπη («Κι ακούμε σ’ αγαπώ») και το Άπειρο («9») και υπαρξιακή ποίηση («Αιμάτινες σκιές από απόσταση»).

Charles Lloyd has long been a free spirit, master musician, and visionary. For more than six decades the legendary saxophonist and composer has loomed large over the music world, and at 84 years old he remains at the height of his powers and as prolific as ever. Early on Lloyd saw how placing the improvised solo in interesting and original contexts could provoke greater freedom of expression and inspire creativity, and throughout his remarkable career he has searched for alternative ways to frame his improvisational skills.As a sound seeker, Lloyd’s restless creativity has perhaps found no greater manifestation than on his latest masterwork, an expansive project that encompasses three albums with an overarching theme, each presenting him in a different trio setting—a Trio of Trios. The first album, Trios: Chapel (out June 24), features guitarist Bill Frisell and bassist Thomas Morgan. The second, Trios: Ocean (out August 26), features guitarist Anthony Wilson and pianist Gerald Clayton. The third, Trios: Sacred Thread (out October 28), features guitarist Julian Lage and percussionist Zakir Hussain.

Touted as “confessional,” “reflective,” and “soul-baring,” Me Against the World was as one of 2pac’s most positively reviewed albums, with many calling it the magnum opus of his career. The work is considered one of the greatest and most influential hip hop albums of all time. In 2008, the National Association of Recording Merchandisers, in conjunction with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, recognized Me Against the World as one of the “most influential and popular albums,” ranking it number 170 on a list of 200 other albums by artists of various musical genres.
